Why this is on the services list
It should be plumbing. Instead it is one of the most common ways businesses get trapped.
We have been called in to unpick this for businesses across Gujarat and India more times than the problem deserves to exist. The pattern is always the same.
A domain registered in the agency's name instead of yours. Hosting on an account you have no login for. DNS managed somewhere nobody can identify. Then the relationship ends, and moving your own website becomes a negotiation — or, in the worst cases we have been called in to unpick, an outright ransom.
So we state it plainly: everything is registered to your business, and you hold the credentials from day one. Not on request. Not at the end of the engagement. From the start.
What gets set up
Done once, properly, so it does not need revisiting for years.
- Domain registration or transfer, in your business name, with registrar lock and auto-renew enabled so nobody loses it to a missed invoice.
- DNS configured at a fast, reliable provider, with records documented so a future change is a five-minute job rather than an investigation.
- Hosting matched to what the site actually is — a static marketing site and a database-backed application do not want the same infrastructure or the same bill.
- SSL installed and set to renew automatically, with HTTPS enforced and secure headers in place.
- Business email routing — Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 — with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured so your mail reaches inboxes rather than spam folders.
- A written handover: every account, every credential, every record, in one document you keep.
Email deliverability is the part everyone forgets
A business can have a perfect website and still lose customers because its quotes land in spam. That is almost always missing or misconfigured SPF, DKIM and DMARC records — authentication that tells receiving mail servers your messages are genuinely from you.
Providers have kept tightening enforcement, and a domain without proper authentication now gets filtered aggressively. We configure all three at setup and verify delivery, because finding out about this from a customer who says they never got your proposal is an expensive way to learn.
Moving from another provider
We handle transfers, including the awkward ones where the current arrangement is unclear or the previous agency is unresponsive. Migrations are planned so the site and the email stay up through the change rather than going dark for a day.
If a domain is currently registered to someone other than you, we will tell you exactly what your options are. Sometimes it is a straightforward transfer. Sometimes it is a harder conversation. Either way you will understand your position before you act.
